First session of the year

Well, not quite. Actually I’ve had a few starters at PokerStars, that didn’t really pan out. No big deal.
But this is the first all-evening-into-the-night session of nearly 900 hands.
First couple of hundred hands were against assorted short stackers that dropped in, before I embarked on a 740+ hands long game.
It started out well. I was playing good (well, somewhere between my B+ and my A-game). I was even listening to a local radio station that Bastin suggested, and the tunes were surprisingly good, most of the time.
Then my hands failed to hold up in two crucial spots, stucking(?) me hard. I hate getting stuck against a player I know, I can beat. Especially when I know I get it in with the best hand multiple times. So I gritted my teeth and changed the dial – putting Volbeat on always has a positive effect on my game. Especially “A Warriors Call” That song always does it for me.
You need to look closely, but the session actually ends in a plus, thanks to a well-timed AA vs. AK that ended the night.

I would think to play that long, Volbeat might be required for the entire session, or Eno’s ambient music.
@bastinptc
I have actually had sessions where I only heard “A Warriors Call” on repeat. After a while I hardly notice that it’s there. It’s sort of like going numb in your ears.
Did you hear that poker song that was on at 1620 AM – I wonder who it was and what it was called.
Glad to hear you ended up on the good side of break-even.
