Having a strong poker network is key to becoming a great poker player. It will allow you to get into the best games and allow you to make friends with the strongest players who can help you further improve.
And I’m writing all this, because “Andrew Robl”, “Good2CU” and “From Busto to Robusto” has been the three phrases that provides me the most traffic from Google for quite a while now. Fourth is: “poker player strangles competitor in fit of rage”. No kidding!

But anyway: How is your own poker network? Mine is shit all – present online-company not included, of course.
Stumbled across this 30 minute documentary, so it’s a little short for popcorn, but worth watching just the same.
If you’ve followed online poker for a while, you’ve definately come across Greg Lavary, aka The Riparian, aka CaptZEEbo. He was one of the top online names, winning millions of dollar, before eventually cracking up and getting hospitalized.
This little short film tells the story of that period of his life.
It’s already posted on every other poker blog, so I don’t expect you to read it first here, but still. This is going to be the buzz of the pokersphere for a while.
Some say it’s going to be bad news for online poker. I don’t know. It may just bring about the regulation that everyone and their mother has been asking for, for a while now. It may even make some open their eyes and see what a ridicoulus act the UIEGA is.
Of course, being from Denmark, none of this will every really be my concern with regards to me being able to play online poker. I am a (paying) member of the PPA though, so I am part of the fight to legalize poker in America, which I think is about time. I strongly urge you, dear reader, to sign up as well.
